Banking & FinanceEvery change traced to the control it touches.
The Banking & Finance pack teaches your agents the language of financial controls. They classify work by data sensitivity, control criticality and resilience impact, then link each requirement to its control, code, tests, approvals, release and evidence inside Azure DevOps. Control owners keep every decision.
No card required. Your data stays in your Azure DevOps tenant.

Naming compliance is easy. Naming the control is the work.
A general assistant can tell you a change might matter for compliance. That is not enough for a bank or a payments team. Delivery has to connect business and regulatory requirements to specific controls, data classes, systems, owners, tests, approvals, releases and evidence. When one requirement changes, someone has to find out which control moved, which data it handles, who owns it, and which duties must stay separate. Today that answer is usually assembled by hand, across work items, pull requests, pipeline runs and spreadsheets, a few days before an audit.
- 01
The control link is missing.
Stories ship with a feature description but no link to the SOX-relevant control or the data class they touch. The gap only shows up when audit asks for the chain.
- 02
Segregation is checked by memory.
Whether the author, reviewer and approver of a change are different people is something a reviewer is expected to notice. Nobody checks it the same way twice.
- 03
Resilience evidence lives elsewhere.
Incidents, recovery tests and runbooks sit outside the change record, so DORA-related evidence has to be rebuilt for each review.
- 04
The audit package is a project.
Control design and operation evidence, approvals and test results are gathered by hand every cycle, and the package is stale the week after it is signed.
Four layers tuned to financial controls.
The same agents, configured with the classifications, relationships, frameworks and gates that financial-services delivery is reviewed against. You can edit every layer in plain English.
- 01 Classification
Data, control and resilience classes.
Data classes such as PII, payment-card data and market-sensitive information. Control criticality such as SOX ICFR. Service and ICT criticality, resilience impact, security risk, and change and release risk.
- 02 Traceability model
Requirement to control to evidence.
Business or regulatory requirement, functional requirement, control, technical implementation, code or configuration change, test, approval, release, then evidence and monitoring. Each link is a real Azure DevOps relationship.
- 03 Standards & frameworks
The frameworks your reviewers cite.
SOX and COSO internal-control context, PCI DSS v4.0, DORA operational resilience, GDPR and privacy requirements, MiFID II record and control context, and your own security, model-risk and change policies.
- 04 Lifecycle gates & evidence
Gates with a named owner.
Control owner review, segregation-of-duties check, security and privacy review, PR, build and test policies, change approval, release readiness, operational resilience evidence, and the audit package.
The Banking & Finance chain, kept intact.
A requirement without its control link is caught, and the link is restored before release readiness.

Where the agents do the work.
Eight workflows configured for financial-services delivery. Each one starts from a trigger your team set, writes to the Azure DevOps artifact it concerns, and stops at the approval your policy requires.

Control-aware requirements
Classify each requirement by data, control, resilience and reporting impact, and draft review-ready acceptance and evidence criteria on the work item.
Business Analyst Agent
Secure PR and change review
On every pull request, check the linked control and work item, code owners, data and security impact, tests, segregation, and the approvals the change needs.
DevOps Engineer Agent
Pipeline and release controls
Verify protected branches, build and security gates, change approvals, deployment readiness, rollback plans and evidence before a release moves on.
Release Manager Agent
Vulnerability and dependency management
Triage findings, rank them by exposure and criticality, prepare the remediation work, and verify the fix once it lands.
DevOps Engineer Agent
Operational resilience
Connect incidents, service criticality, changes, recovery tests and runbooks, and keep the DORA-related evidence on the record.
Release Manager Agent
Control and traceability audit
Walk the chain from business requirement to functional requirement, control, implementation, test and evidence, and report every broken link.
Requirements Engineer Agent
Electronic approval and segregation checks
Review the identity, decision, timing, owner and incompatible-role facts that are available for each approval, and flag conflicts for review.
Compliance Officer Agent
Audit evidence package
Assemble current control design and operation evidence, changes, tests, approvals and gaps into one package for reviewer sign-off.
Compliance Officer Agent
Fourteen roles, configured for finance.
The supplied catalog includes these role configurations for Banking & Finance. Each one runs as shipped, or you fork it, attach your control library and policies as knowledge, and re-version it with rollback.
Business Analyst Agent

Tags each story with its data class and control criticality, and drafts evidence criteria next to the acceptance criteria.
ShipDevOps Engineer Agent

Checks every PR for a linked control, code-owner review and separate author and approver before it can merge.
ReleaseRelease Manager Agent

Holds the release until change approval, rollback and resilience evidence are on record.
GovernCompliance Officer Agent

Builds the audit package from live control, test and approval data, with the gaps listed for the reviewer.

A requirement touching cardholder data changes.
A requirement that handles cardholder data, and sits under a SOX-relevant control, is edited. A conditional trigger on that field change starts the run. The agent reads the requirement and its links, then works out the data classification, the control and its owner, the implementation, the open PRs, the tests, the segregation rules and the release approvals that apply. It creates the review and retest tasks the change needs, and posts a finding where a link is missing. The run then pauses on an Open Task for the named control owner, who can answer, attach files, and approve or reject. Release readiness stays incomplete until the control chain is verified and the result is written to the run record in Job Explorer.

Agents assemble the chain. People own the conclusions.
Agents classify, link, check and assemble evidence inside the boundaries you configure. Control owners, compliance, risk, security, finance, internal audit, engineering and release authorities keep responsibility for control design and effectiveness, attestations, risk acceptance and every regulatory conclusion. Required Approval holds a run until the named person decides, and a rejected proposal writes nothing.

Banking & Finance questions.
It applies the classification logic you configure and prepares a recommendation on the work item. The responsible control, finance and compliance owners review and approve the classification.
No. It runs configured workflow checks and keeps the evidence current. Scope, control design and operation, testing and the regulatory assessment stay with your organization and its assessors.
It can check the roles, approvals and actions available to it in Azure DevOps and flag conflicts. Enforcement itself depends on your identity, permissions, policies and integrations.
No. Agents run inside your Azure DevOps environment and read only the context their workflow is scoped to. Your project data is not used to train models.
Yes. Attach them as knowledge, or turn on Bring Your Own Data so the agent retrieves from your documents, Azure DevOps queries and wiki pages during the run.
Credits are $0.01 each and pooled across your organization, with no per-user fees. A rule-shaped check, such as a required control link on a PR, can run as an Execution Agent for a flat 4 credits. Agents pause at zero.
Secure PR and change review. The trigger is clear, the required links and approvals are already defined in your policy, and the result is easy to verify in the first week.
